Default HTTP Connection Request

Please Login to Remove!

I installed the free BBToday application and I am receiving a screen that says:

The application BBToday had requested a http connection to xoap.weather.com.

Don't ask this again for:
all http connections
http connections to xoap.weather.com

The two items above in bold are options with checkboxes. I have tried every key, scroll wheel, etc. and I cannot select one of the boxes (they remain unchecked). I cannot do anything until this screen disappears but I am unable to select one of the two options. Anybody know how to get by this screen?

Did you try disabling your firewall?

I can't get to anything (including settings) because of the screen being presented as mentioned above. I cannot access anything on my BB because of this screen. It's not locked up or anything...

Your scroll wheel should move you from the box in front of "all http connections" to "http connections to xoap.weather.com" to "Allow this connection" and back. Click the scroll wheel when "Allow this connection" is highlighted. When that's resolved, disable your firewall.

I fixed the problem. I popped out my battery and when it came back up this time it allowed me to select the boxes. Very strange. Thanks.

Same thing just happened to me, after installing BBToday. Glad you discovered the battery trick--even a powerdown (the power button still seemed to work) didn't fix it.
