Default Problem with simulator

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this...
I'm trying to work on a project a colleague started but I can't seem to be able to run it on the simulator...

The thing is, the application tries to connect to a webservice but can't seem to be able to...
We checked the webservice and it seems to work fine...

If I run the application on the BB, I get a message "accept/deny" connection.
After that, it doesn't do anything.
It think it's stuck at this line :
httpConn = (HttpsConnection)Connector.open(url);
I don't even get a timeout message.

On the simulator, I don't get the "accept/deny" message but it does run the line
httpConn = (HttpsConnection)Connector.open(url);
but then freezes at
rc = httpConn.getResponseCode();
and then I get a timeout exception....

Anyone can help with that?

Thanks!
