Smile Photo Album for your Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Found a really nice photo album program for your BB, Ascendo Photo .. shareware .. allows you to resize any photo you have on your computer then send it to your BB via the USB cable in fullscreen size. This is a gotta try. You'll like it.

If someone figures out how to use the transferred photos as wallpapers in OS4, please let me know.

Hi Alan,

The Ascendo Photos desktop utility saves your resized images in the /Sent folder off of the directory that you are using the Photos desktop from. Use your email client to send them as attachments to your Blackberry email address, then save them to the Blackberry Photo Album, select image, press track wheel, choose "Select as Home Screen Image".

Default resize with photoshop

How big does an image have to be to fit on a blackberry screen? It occurs to me that I could resize them myself using photoshop.

the blackberry 7280 (that I have) sports a resolution of 240 x 160 .. so I guess any picture of that resolution or larger will work. I know that 640x480 pics from my HP camera work fine. Just have to experiment, I guess(?) Hope that helps. Alan
