Default bleh just got my bill today...

Please Login to Remove!

so upon opening my recent nextel bill i see the bill and to my own disbelief it is 200$ more than i was anticipating...

the extra 200$ come from a charge: Data and Third Party Services

is this because i used ramble and dont have a data service plan?

or is using rambleim gonna always give me charges like this?

any one know if i need to add data service plan and unlimited email traffic to my blackberry service?

oh well i guess no more using ramble till i find out a cheaper way of using aim on my blackberry.

thanks in advance.

I do believe that you will need a data plan in order to get email and use ramble without getting a very large bill.

Its not from Ramble. I have had Ramble for close to 4 months now and my bill has been the same. You should get the Unlimited Data Plan. $45 a month for this plan is better than a $200 bill.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 7520: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

I had the same problem with their 34 dollar plan, tell them you were confused by the advertisement and to add the 45 dollar plan, its worth it.

Dawg, how did you get away with less packet data than me? I'll trade you my cell bill for yours! My cell bill $478.98, 3 bb's & 2 i860's, plus tax and so on. I'll even throw in an old 6510, lol.....

Total Packet Data for 3 bb's:25,625 kb

This is why I went with T-mob's 7100t, for their $60 1000 minutes/unlimited data plan. There are no free calls but I'm not much into talking so that's not an issue.

The main reason I love my BB now is the ability to connect it to my laptop when I travel and access the Internet. I don't always get to stay in hotels with free high-speed Internet so the BB's access has been great.
