Red face Is there a maximum number of contacts that a BB can sync?

Please Login to Remove!

From what I've read, it could be a memory problem, since there's only 56 mb local.

Or, some say it's related to the first name field being empty on the contact. If you enter the first name for all contacts, they sync over.

I'm still waiting to see if that works, but has anyone heard of any other limitations, or ways to configure our BES to sync all contacts?

Would adding a memory card help? Or does it only store contacts in the on board memory?

Thanks in advance!

It is only limited by device memory and contacts to not take up much space. There was a thread on this where member started posting their contact numbers and some guy had like 17,000 I don' tthink it's going to be an issue.
Adding a memory card will not help as contacts much be on device memory. I cannot answer your question on DL all contacts from BES. Someone might have an answer here but you can always ask your BES administrator.

Good luck!

I agree with Thatzmister2u, it's limited to device memory. I have one attorney here that has over 10,000 contacts in his outlook. He was forced to get a newer blackberry with more memory when his old device ran out of memory and there was nothing for us to delete.
