Red face help7230 on O2 want to use Orange

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I'm totally new, I have pinched my other half's BB as he doesn't know how to use it - got it from work....

it is on O2, but I have an orange SIM card. I'm guessing it's locked as it won't recognise the SIM.

I've read loads of post, but couldn't find the right sort of thisg, not sure if it can be unlocked etc. It all seems very techy to me!

I don't have any desktop manager software or anything either, can anyone suggest where I should start....

cheers

Yes, - Hand the Blackberry back to it's rightful owner.
I'm sure his work wouldn't be too happy about forking out tonnes of cash each month just so you can make a few calls or SMS's.

Blackberry is not a mobile phone!
Blackberry is an e-mail device that uses the wireless mobile network to send it's information and must be configured to both the e-mail servers and the Mobile service providers network.
Just as computers are not typewriters, and take some setting up with compatible components.
If it's a nice phone you want, Nokia and Sony Ericsson have been bringing out some nice ones.

PS: He must love you very much if he gave you his Blackberry, Hell, I'd give away my car or boat before I did that!

I would consider giving away my other half first.
