Default Best Price for a Nextel 7520?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

New to the Forums and a potential new BB owner.

I have been to the nextel web site and I have done many searches. I think I am ready to make the purchase. I will get the full plan from nextel, but was wondering if any of you knew where to get the best price?

Thanks in advance,

2kayaks

Thumbs up

Nextel has a deal where you get an instant $50 off and a $100 rebate. Making a total of $199.99 in box. I've been keeping track on the 7520's since I still have a 7510. You can find one on eBay, but most of the time they go for more than what Nextel is selling them or the same price. So in that case I would go with the new one. If you decide t get one from eBay, ask the seller for the PIN number from the BB, then verify with Nextel before you buy it. This way you can be sure it was not reported Lost/Stolen through the insurance, in which case they will not let you activate.

I've had Nextel for years, only one problem and they fixed it. Other than that it has been GREAT!

I 2nd that. I wouldn't know how to act without my nextel. The coverage in my area has dramatically improved in the last 18 months too. Been a few bumps with customer service, but there were bumps with other carriers before Nextel too....

I recommend however buying the new one that way you know if it dont work you can take it back and get it replaced . if you buy second hand you are just out of luck

If you are a government employee, i.e. city, state or federal, you can receive a discount. I believe it's 27% off the phone and 10% off the monthly service. I got the 7520 for $149 last month. I am a deputy sheriff in VA. My g/f is a teacher and she got the same discount.

Thanks for the info. I have been with nextel since around 1997. Service has improved alot since then. After many searches and many hours of surfing this forum, I will bite the bullet. I will place my order at Nextel shortly.
