Just got my blackberry today - 7520 through nextel - unlimited plan

When I was inquiring about the blackberry, the nextel rep told me I could transfer emails (with attachments) to my laptop (not connected to an ISP) with the USB cable. I travel a lot and can't always get an internet connection with my laptop.

All day long I have tried to "sync" and/or "reconcile" the email (and attachment) and it will not work. Nextel now tells me this can not be done.

Can anyone help?

Your rep is misinformed... or he lied.

You can sync contact, notes, appointments, and taks, but you cannot sync emails between you handheld and desktop the way you would on, say, a Palm device. It just doesn't do that. Mail in and out requires a data plan, which in the case of Nextel is $50/month for the unlimited plan, and you don't want the limited plan.

This is one of the reasons I jumped to T-Mobile when my Nextel 7510 died.
