I am a new berry user and I am still learning everyday from reading this forum. I am hoping that one day I can pay my dues to this forum. For the past few days, I had been reading up on bluetooth headsets, thanks to all the reviews and posts and especially Bar John's informative website. I finally decided to go with the Plantronic Voyager 510, even though I tested the Moto HS820 which I thought worked extremely well and loved the size of it.

I was searching around and found that Amazon is currently taking pre-order for the Voyager at 50% off from Plamtronic MSRP, @49.95 with free shipping, I decided to post on this forum.

Best of all, even thought it was advertised as pre-order, I received a shipment notice on the same day I ordered it, they must have gotten them in just now.

I applied for a Amazon.com Visa on the check out page and qualified for an instant $30 off my order, my total check out price was under $20.00

I hope this post will help those who are going to test out the Highly Rated Voyager 510.

how is the volume on that Voyager

Why didn't you like the HS820? I love the size of that thing, however, the way it hangs on your ear makes it very easy to fall off I believe.
I think the volume is fine on the HS820 when paired with 7290, I have the 4.0 OS

I am going to be receiving the Voyager 510 early next week. It was shipped out on the same day I ordered in on Amazon.com I will report back and do a comparison next week.

Bar John has an indepth review on the Plantronics Voyager 510, there are even wav files he recorded in different background noise conditions.
