Which version of desktop software has the media manager where I can transfer files from my pc to the BB.
Please help ????
currently i have ver 4.3 but it does not shows the media manager wen i connect my BB to the PC .
model 8830

4.2 & 4.3 should both work. Media manager must be launched by you from DM after your device is connected to your PC.

But as updated to u ..after i connect my device it gets detected by the PC , however the media manager icon is missing .
and again the versionis 4.3 .
do u suggest me ver 4.2

dody, don't even use Media Manager. Many of us don't.

If you want to simply transfer some music etc., to the Media Card of the 8830, follow the instructions here (see Check Settings and Option 1):
