Now my question: Under SETTINGS>SMS there's a yes/no setting for 'Cell Broadcasting Service' .. can anyone explain just what this setting does anyway(?) It is default to NO but what happens if I turn it on? Will my unit begin automatically transmitting requests for SMS data or does it open it up for junk mail/ads/etc or ??? I really haven't found a good explanation for just what it does.

Since I originally posted this message, I have done more searching to try to find an answer. It appears to be some type of subscriber service or area-specific multicasting(?) If my carrier supports it, is there any subscribing I need to do or does it just work in the event of weather or other emergency broadcasts in my area? I am in Oklahoma (in the tornado belt) and it would be nice if I could get NOAA weather alerts. Thanks, Alan
