Default minimoni and hourglass - 05-05-2008, 09:51 AM

Ok, so I am always over on my data so I tried to install the minimoni? Supposed to be able to track my data so I don't go over. Well I intalled it now I can't even turn on my bb. It just keeps doing the hourglass thingy.....I don't know what to do!
Anyone?

Pull the battery on the BB, hold a minute and replace to reboot the device.

What happens?

I pulled the battery and left it out for about 5 mins. I put it back in and it is doing the same thing.

How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

this will wipe your device completely. But you should be able to get your device up and running.

details details... tried what over and over?

If you did the wipe with JL-cmder and "no luck" you pretty much have a doorstop in your hand. However that really is doubtful, as JL_cmder will recover 99% of the devices when used correctly.

Glad it all worked out in the end.

In hindsight, although I am not up on BB model numbers and such, I know that Bell is a CDMA carrier, and MiniMoni only works on GSM phones.

That said, I didn't know it locked up CDMA phones, I thought it'd just not work.
