I have a dark area on my blackberry 6510. I have seen them before when I accidentally put pressure on the screen but they always went away.

This one has been there for hours. If it will go away like the others, I won't worry about it, if that's not likely now that it has been there for more than six, then should I send it for repair or is it time for a new one?

id say go for the new one and see what you are missing I used the 6510 and when I went to the 7520 it was like going from a chevette to a corvette.

I'd recommend the 7290. Look at the glass as half full. Now you've got a great reason to upgrade.

And get a bluetooth earphone with it

but he already has nextel and the dont offer the 7290. what does the 7290 have that the 7520 doesnt. I can tell you what the 7520 has that the 7290 doesnt Direct connect and a speaker phone comes desktop stand. He likes his DC I am sure and he will love it with a 7520 since he wont have to hold to his ear. If he likes nextel you wouldnt get him to switch to anything but a nextel trust me on this. Ask anyone who uses nextel if they could do with out it.
