Wink The boss got 571 old mails

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I guess yesterday at about 3:00PM in the afternoon the bosses cell phone got 571 old messages -resent to his inbox. They didn't come from the exchange server to the BIS server and then to the phone, I don't think.

They just showed up, any ideas where to start? My Exchange Server sends the mail to the providers service here: bis.na.blackberry.com and we added the local email accounts to each phone as per BB instructions.

I have to try to track this one down ......

Cheers'
Dave

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

I've seen this sort of things talked about among gmail users, but I assume you are talking about email on a company email system and BES, right? If so, I'm curious to see what others say. I haven't seen it discussed before.

If it is BIS email (such as gmail), search and I'm sure you will find past threads. As I recall, the problem seems to occur when the inbox gets very large, but I may not remember correctly.
