I can't explain why it seemed to work and then you had trouble, but I've learned from others here that the newer free hotmail is not supported on blackberrys. Older free accounts, and all premium (paid) accounts are supported. I'm not sure where the cutoff is on old that works and new that doesn't.

I would say search, but you say you did. Anyway, this question is asked every week or so, and there are multiple threads where this is discussed.

If "years" is only two or three or four, then I think you are probably out of luck.

But you said it was working, sort of. I don't know anything about your carrier, but I assume you logged into their BIS portal, entered your address and password, selected save (or something like that), and got a comfirmation that the address was successfully added?

What have you done to test?

If it is working, there is still going to be a 15-minute delay between BIS polls of the inbox. (This may help explain: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...oll-email.html)
