nothing that pertains to BlackBerry handhelds, from my experience. there's PIN messaging, which is a handheld-to-handheld-directly-over-the-RIM-network communication utility - now with a GUI interface deemed BlackBerry Messenger. perhaps in the older days, SIM messaging would refer to SMS messages, since they were stored on the SIM card...? or perhaps its simulator/simulated messaging, a la sim city or the sims...?

PIN messaging is messaging between blackberries. Every BB has a PIN number, and if you know the PIN of another BB user you can message him/her. It's faster than email. BB Messenger also uses PIN messaging to send messages back and forth in a IM type environment.

The easiest way that I know is:

Go to Compose e-mail.

In the body of the e-mail type:

mypin:

it should automatically fill in your pin.
