Installation went just fine at home on my XP Pro machine but at work, (Win 2000), I can't get DTM to see my Curve. It charges while connected to the USB port but that's it.

DTM (v 4.3) is compatible with Win 2000 as far as I can tell.

Thoughts?

Can you plug in other Removable Storage Devices via USB and have them recognized?

I know at my office this is disabled so that important files are not transferred to a device and taken.

The USB port works fine for flash drives. No restrictions.

I now hear from Verizon that DTMgr is not compatible with Win 2000. Arrgh!

However, my son, (IT manager for a Cleveland company) that hooking up to my desktop at work is completely unnecessary. The University (where I work) has an exchange server for Blackberry and I can sync email, appointments and tasks by data connection.

It wasn't Win 2000 afterall. It was the inexpensive cable I bought. *sigh

DTM seems to operate just fine in the Win 2000 enviroment.
