Does anyone know about how Verizon classifies pin messages? I know that if you use the messanger, it falls under the data useage but if you text, then you need to get a text plan. Do pin messages get around this? Thanks!!

PIN messaging is part of the Data Plan on all carriers.

PIN messages use data, so no need for a text plan. Welcome to BBF.

It doesn't "get around it". It's BB data, regardless of carrier.

Well, not for PIN messages. You still need to take your SMS/MMS usage into account.
