Question Help: Email not being pushed to BB

Please Login to Remove!

My Earthlink BB 7250 has been wonderful but last week, for some reason, email has stopped being pushed to the device. Email will be sitting in the bwc inbox and won't show up on the device until I use an application (such as the web browser) to request data.

Coverage is great--I always have 4-5 bars and a 1 with a big "x." We've tried a hard reset, deleting and resending all service books, and deleting my bwc profile and creating a new one. All to no avail.

Is anyone familiar with this issue? How can I get my email pushing again?

Thanks,
Jacob

My Verizon 7250 has done that on occasion. Its like it goes to sleep and doesn't wake up until I use the browser or update the weather with PocketDay. Then if works fine again. I'm not sure what causes it and it only happens occasionally.

This problem is still occuring all the time. It's not just an occasional thing. I've used the BB a lot in Tampa and in Wash, DC. In both places, email won't push until I use an app like the browser or ramble or berry411. Could this be an equipment defect?

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

Try forwarding your email instead of thru BWC and see if you have the issue. If you do then I would say its the bb, if not then it would be the BWC being slowed for some reason.

Right now the email is instantly forwarded from gmail to my direct bb address. The emails just pile up in the bwc inbox until I use an internet application--then they are all pushed to the bb at once.
