Default Pin options

Please Login to Remove!

Good morning fellow Blackberry forum members,

I have a simple question, I have a office located in Dubai and I have alot of users over there with Blackberry's and was asked if there is any way we could lower our telcom cost. I suggested that our users use the pin option instead of using the phone service. But I am not sure if using the pin option internationally is a free service. Would anybody out there know if it is a free service?

Thank you in advance,

Erick Bouza

PIN messages are part of the data package, and will transmit anywhere in the world as long as you are on the RIM network. I often PIN message with a user in the south Pacific. The cost is part of the data package you already have.

Wirelessly posted

I PIN and use the messenger all the time to people is Europe (I'm in the states). So much cheaper than making a call.

If the data plan is unlimited then Yes PIN messaging is free. If your on a limited data plan then PIN messaging could cause you additional fees if you go over your limit.
