Default Set CNN Mobile Alerts to Level 1

Please Login to Remove!

I sometimes keep my phone on 'Phone Only', at which time I only want it to ring when I have a phone call. But I also want it to do a 'sonar' alert when I get a message from CNN Mobile Alerts

CNN Mobile Alerts just sends an email to ##########@messaging.sprintpcs.com with the alert.

The easiest way to do this would be to make those messages a 'Level 1' alert, but how in the world would I do that with something that sends it to @messaging.sprintpcs.com ?

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

Set that at your BIS site, edit the filters

The filter only applies to the emails forwarding to BB, not the @messaging address... those go through as if they are SMSes

I use vzw and I can set up a filter using my carrier address. I assume the same would work for a sprint user.

messaging.sprintpcs.com is a way to send emails to SMS, that's not the sprint blackberry email addrses.

Like vtext.com and vzw.blackberry.net.
