Hello, I have a Blackberry 7290 synchronize my contacts & calendars via Desktop Manager at work using Lotus Notes.

I was wondering if I install Desktop Manager on my home PC and synchronize with my Outlook ? Would that work? Like everything that's already in the BB would get populated in Outlook ?

Or it wouldn't be a good idea because they would be some conflicts... ?

Well, if the BB is a company device, and they pay the bill, there might be an IT Policy to prevent you from doing it. I never recommend putting personal stuff on a company owned device as your personal stuff is no longer personal.

In addition, I think once you populate your BB from home, all of that will sync to work and work will sync with your home stuff. If that is what you want, then go for it.

I do not believe there is a way to keep it separate.

Yes you can do it. If your configured to sync the address book wirelessly with work you will have to turn that off first. Open the address book options and set wireless sync to no. After syncing on your home PC then turn the wireless sycn back on.

But won't they both be merged into one address book?

Yes they will be merged.
