Exclamation Adding an address book from one BB to another address book on another BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Friends,

I have a 8100 with 630 contact / address book entries. I now got a 8300 which already came preloaded with 83 contact / address book entries, which are not on the 8100 and which I need as well.

How do i transfer the 630 entries from my 8100 to 8300 ?

[a] transferring to SIM and then to 8300 would be too tedious if i have to do entry by entry
[b] If i use the desktop manager backup/restore option, will the 83 entries in my 8300 get deleted when i try to restore ?

Please help !

How about transferring through Outlook via the Desktop Manager?

That would also give you a needed backup.

Either method will work. A restore from the address book databse will not delete the newer entires.
