Default Spacing between words

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 7750. Just today I noticed that while replying or composing emails (in Messages), I am not able to enter a space between words. Not sure why this is happening - perhaps I accidently changed the setting? Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know how to fix? Example of what is appearing when I type a message: DearMrSmithyourdrycleaningisreadytobepickedup." Help. Thank you to anyone who can help.

First thing: reset the BB by popping out the battery and putting it back in.

See if that helps.

thanks. popped out the battery and put it back in. Same thing occurring - space bar still not working. I also notice my backlight button is no longer working either - I pushed the backlight button and no light came on - I have a full battery. I wonder if those two keys are "out" or "broken"? Is that a possibility? or is there a command for the space bar?

I think it is the spacebar key - if i hit it several times and real hard in one corner, it works - so I am thinking something is wrong with the button itself. I guess I will take it into Verizon and have it checked. That should be an all day event. Thank you for your help. If there is something else I may be missing, please let me know.

How long have you had this BB. Sounds like it's life is slowly fading away. Better send her back while you have a chance.
