Default Curve 8310 scroll doesnt work

Please Login to Remove!

ok for the past couple of days i was able to scroll left down up but i had to put pressure to move i just woke up and tried to scroll right and it cant.......anyone know how to get it scrolling again?? Do i need to take it apart and get to the scroll wheel??

There is probably debris around it. I only know that much, don't know how to take one apart. If you did take it apart you will probably null and void any warranty or support from your carrier.

Most likely there is dirt or lint around the track ball. Do you carry it in your pocket?

Step 1: Turn off the device. Press and hold the trackball and roll it in all directions for a minute or so.

Step 2: While pressing the ball down, blow some canned/compressed air all around the track ball.

Step 3: Dip a q-tip in alcohol and clean the ball.

Step 4: Turn the BB back on and it should work.

Step 5: Buy a holster and don't carry it in your pocket.
