Well... Looks like the FCC has approved a merger between Sprint and Nextel. I sure hope I don't have to watch Sprint Cup Nascar races... Should be Winston.

well I just went to the sprint/nextel page to pay my bill nothing looks familiar cant find anything to do with nextel on it all phones listed are pcs phones so I am clueless as to whats gonna happen.

Wound up having to do a search on the site to finally see something there are some new bb plans available a 5mb for 29.00

The new 5mb Plan is Application Data only....

the 3mb plan was up to 5mb...same price

As far as Nextel iDEN phone they will be there for a long time 2010.

There are specials that have changed lots of little things on plans $5.00 buy-up all mobile to mobile free (iDEN(Nextel), CDMA(Sprint) both are included and the mobile to mobile buy-up is available on all plans)

Default Signal?

At my home, i used to have full bars as a signal, just yesterday i noticed that I'm barely getting a signal. Did anyone run into a problem like I did? The reason I switched from sprint to nextel was that i get better reception where I live using nextel. Is nextel using sprints towers?

well I just saved myself 10 dollars a month and got all sorts of new features. guys you all need to call nextel and have them go over your accounts with you. I called them today and I did away with three services that i was paying for upfraded my account to one of the new sprint plans and got all the stuff I was paying for for just renewing my contract with them plus now I can talk nationwide on the dc for free and get to talk for free after 6pm so i will say the nextel merger has been a positive for me so far

I have split billing, so I'm afraid to even touch anything on my account. I originally left Sprint b/c of 6 months of unresolved billing issues. I don't want to go back to that. :(

yes I had a 500 minute free incoming and was paying for M2M and nationwide direct connect. So all I did was went to a new sprint 500 free incoming plan and I get nationwide free and I am still paying for the M2M but i saved the 20 bucks a month so I was able to add the night and weekend plan and still come out 10 dollars cheaper
