Default Blackberry Curve 8320 sound cuts out during conversations

I'm a new Blackberry user, and I've noticed when I'm talking to someone I can't hear anything on the other end. That is, if I say something while someone else is talking, or someone else starts talking before I'm finished, I can't hear anything coming from the other side until I stop talking. I guess I could be imagining it, but I don't think so. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Service is through T-Mobile.

That's strange. If it's a new device, maybe get it replaced with Tmobile? Their customer service is usually pretty good.

What is your signal strength like when this happens? I've noticed this sometimes happens to me on my 8800 when I only have one bar.

try plugging in the headphones in and out a few times...sometimes it shorts and the handset speaker cuts in and out.

I have the same issue with an original 8320

I notice if they are also on an 8300 and I am on my speaker,, it cuts in and out like crazy
I just take my self odd speakerphone
or use a headset
