Default Editing Notification Tones

Please Login to Remove!

I have a new Blackberry Curve. I have followed the directions for editing my notification tones in the FAQ section, i.e., my e-mail messages coming in. For some reason, it's not working. I've gone into Profiles and edited the Normal and Loud profiles to reflect my changes but it's not taking. I keep getting the same old tone.

Help is greatly appreciated!

And make certain in your Profile, that you are editing both IN and OUT of holster settings.

Yep, all my other changes are working.

And, about 1 hour ago, my changes finally worked. I don't know what I did but I changed all the different messages to be the same, and at first I didn't notice the in-holster/out section. Thanks for calling that to my attention because the first time I made the changes, I didn't change that.

Now everything seems to be working okay. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the help.
