Default HELP: Curve 8130 reboots when trying to make a call

Hi,

I just recieved a replacement 8130 b/c my other one stopped working for no reason and since it was within 30 days it was at no cost...

Now my issue is the phone reboots when I try to make a call or when I try to recieve a call.

Everything else on the phone seems to work, (browser, email, etc)

The only thing I think it might be is I'm using my old SIM card in it... I will go to the AT&T store today to try a new SIM card, but wanted to know if anybody has any suggestions.

I was on with ATT support and we went through everything including wiping the system and nothing worked to fix.

HELP, PLEASE

I have heard that often when replacement phones are given, they are refurbished phones, not new. And that sometimes, refurbished phones, aren't really refurbished, just handed out to someone else.

I know with tmo, that after 2 or 3 replacements with refurbished phones, and you still have problems, they will then give you a new phone. At least that is what they did for my daughter.

So, I would suggest, that you turn that phone in and try for another one. Since this happened originally with less that 30 days, I would insist on a new phone and not a refurbished one.

Thanks... just really frustrating. AT&T last night agreed to overnight me another phone... it will likely be a referburb, but hopefully i'll have better luck.
