Default My Curve keeps resetting iteself when on battery

Please Login to Remove!

I have read a lot discussions about selfresetting problem with blackberry phones.

My Curve can start up to the step where the entire desktop shows up, and I can browse around into the applications, however, it will shut off after a few seconds and restart again. In addition, this only happens when my Curve is on the battery, and it will not happen when I connect it to USB.

Strange problem! I have tried to wipe, reflash two version of OS, and the problem still exists. Can anyone help here? Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

It seems like a hardware problem.

I am interested in what others have to say. Do you have insurance on the device?

Just noticed that, the phone will not reset until I roll the trackball. Typing on keypad does not cause any problem.

Did anyone has seen this kind of problem?
