I use to have the HTC smartphone and would invite my personal email so that it would show up on my phone calendar. With my BB, I can't find a way to do that. I have a blackberry.com email account now if that makes a difference.

My work has it set up so that you can't sync a personal cell (BB) with their Outlook.

Not to many ways to get around an IT Policy, nor is it a good idea...

If it is only calendar that you care about you could try using Google Calendar Sync. It will sync your calendar to gCal which can then sync to your BB with Google Sync for Mobile.

It may well be blocked by your IT department as well, but you could try it.
