Default Upgrade blackberry to 4.2 OS

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade my device from 4.1 to 4.2 i keep downloading the desktop manager for some reason and can figure out how to upgrade the actual blackberry. I have Blackberry 8703e for us cellular, any help would be great thanks.

ya i dont know where to download the os from. i just downloaded the desktop manager again, anyone have a link to the os download site.

It's in the FAQ.... Click the link, select your provider then in the pull down box D/L the OS for your device model...

Thanks kris, sorry im new to all of this. I only saw the 2 desktop manager upgrades, i didnt see the bottom with the phones listed thanks for your help

They dont have the 4.2 os that i need in the list, all they have is the 4.1 version so im out of luck

Nope.... Follow the instructions listed here (main thing is delete the vendor.xml file) and you will be good to go...
