Default Help: GMail label folders with IMAP

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a Curve 8330 and set up my personal Gmail with IMAP. Everything seems to be in working order except that I don't see my labels anywhere. From what I've read it appears I should see those labels from my Gmail show up as folders on the Blackberry, but when I View available folders I only see the defaults (Browser Messages, Missed Calls, MMS Inbox, etc). I also do not have a File option in the menu when I select a message I want to file away in a folder--which the Blackberry user manual tells me should be there--I assume this is because it's somehow not finding the labels and thus there aren't any folders actually set up on the Blackberry for filing those emails.

Can anyone tell me if I should be seeing my Gmail folders showing up and if there's anything specific I'm supposed to do to get them to show up other than setting up the Gmail IMAP? Or am I just confused about how this is supposed to work? I greatly appreciate the help.

None of the functionality you're referring to exists. You can't do what you're looking to do.
BIS does not support labels on GMail, nor can you file items or view folders.
