I installed my Transcend Micro SD (1GB) Formatted it in the the phone and its giving me total available of 481MB. Now I know it will not format at a full 1GB but it should be at least 800-900MB and not 481MB.

Any ideas?

Try formatting the card in your PC, then put it in the BB and see what it reads.

Yep..that worked...not sure why I had to do that...but I appreciate the help and assistance.

Every time I get a new card the first thing I do is format it in my PC, then install it in the BB with the battery out, I have never had a problem doing this.

You really don't need to format the cards. AT least those from name manufacturers. They should work right out of the package.
