I am on 4.2.2 on the 8310 and I cannot get my bb to sync with my calendar and vice versa.


On Gmail's help area it says it syncs automatically...But it is not happening..

am I missing something?

What app are you using to Synch? If Google Sync, is the Calendar you want to sync selected in the Options > Sync these Calendars: ? Also are you receiving an error message on the main screen (in red) ?

there are no options in the calendar menu that refer to sync.. When I was running 4.5 beta on my handheld, I saw the option, but I don't see it now that I'm back on 4.2.2

I am running Google Sync v0.4.2 on OS 4.2.2. Is this the same version you are running?

This is where it gets confusing. Google represents that it's two way sync is "BUILT IN" to the blackberry calendar app. Is that not true?

The sync is not built in. You need Google Calendar Sync for BB installed.

Mobile

dualsub is correct, the Google Sync app is separate from the calendar app. You will need to install it and set it up the first time with your Google Account info and selecting what calendars you want to sync to your BB.

Once you set it up, you can enable the Auto Sync, and it will run in the background and keep your mobile calendar sync'd (two-way) with your Google calendar(s) .
