Forgive me if this has been asked. I searched the forum and didn't see anything.

In Outlook, you can create a task and assign it to someone else, which sends the task to that user for them to accept and work on. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this on a Blackberry, and a few Google searches lead me to believe that it can't currently be done. Does anyone know differently? Is there any 3rd party software that adds this feature to the BB?

FWIW, we are running BES 4.1.5, and mostly use the 8830 and 8703e from Verizon.

I don't believe this is possible from the BB.

I don't think it is either, but as an alternative you could make a calendar entry and then invite them as an attendee. Not quite the same, but at least they get it.

You might take a look at ToDoMatrix (Rex Wireless). I believe that it might have this capability, but note that it does not use Outlook databases -- entirely a 3rd party application.

Others more knowing may chime in -- I do not have this software at this time.
