Wirelessly posted (You serious Clark?)

This is another thought, maybe on the donation we could do it like every 4 months, like in lump sums instead, I will still donate either way

No Thank you guys for everything, its you guys that donated, got one of the family a new toy. And in the end, we managed to give some money to a very very worthy cause. My mother and two sisters beat cancer so this is a great way to help fund research. THANK YOU CORY for puting this together

Thanks Steve, you are very generous, and kind, as always.

@ avelasqu, thank you, as well. Remember, the widow's mite was important because of the sacrifice that was made in order to give it. It's not the amount, it is the heart.

One of the mods that writes for BB news section should do a writeup on this! I think its a great thing and deserves some press!

Congrats to dawg and thanks to everyone that contributed!

Hey what's the e-mail addy again? My husband's grandfather (whom he adored) died from leukemia years ago. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I donated in his grandpa's memory. I've been stupid busy the past couple days writing, interviewing people, going to press conferences, interviewing more people, writing some more.

Anyway, now that it's the weekend, I have a minute. Since I didn't get to kick in toward Dawg's phone I'll happily help out with the charity fundraiser. I'm in the process of doing a story on a local survivor to help promote the Relay For Life in this area later this month. I do what I can.

Besides, if ezrunner is involved, then it's a good project.

With my Bold, I'm just an e-mail away.

Dawg, hope that new curve is doing well for you. You can use it to post wirelessly in the CFB thread. Hey that's only a few months away.

And the charity you chose is close to my heart. I've lost a mother, a grandmother and recently, a mother-in-law to cancer. I contribute often to a charitable cancer foundation.

mriff I am enjoying it. I had forgotten how much I liked the shortcut keys on the full keyboard. I don't post wirelessly too much but i will say this thing screams compared to the pearl and its so nice not to have to worry about memory.

As far as the cancer charity goes, it is something I am very concerned with. I have lost so many relatives and friends to this awful disease that I despise it. So I hope we raise a great amount of money and can help find a cure.

My wife and I did the relay for life project last weekend for our church. Both sets of my grandparents died of cancer but my wifes grandparents died of it also. My wife had it about 10 years ago and it finally was cured. I've had plenty of loved ones with cancer and I know it's stupid but I also refuse to goto the dr to get tested for things anymore.

ezrunner kicked major ass in getting this going.

I no that Dawg got his new BB (and I'm still wanting for the pictures) but the boys and I donated $250 (since this money is going for the comman good we are all happy to help a lending hand) Oh and for all of you Canadian and Americans out there I salute you, as my mother said to me when I joined.....You make me proud of what you are doing and although I know there is a risk I may lose you, your fighting for what you believe in, defending with honor all that came before you & all that will come after you,, If I might lose you, know that I love you and am always proud of you, and that your country salutes you, as you join your brothers in arms in rest).

That is awesome Thanks for the donations to the real cause. God Bless you and your brothers for your service to your country.

I did post a pic earlier of the new toy starting up for the first time after the memory optimization. Other than that it hasnt left my side long enough to get any pics.

There we go. It's outbound now, Cory, sorry I didn't get to it over the weekend. I was busier than I thought I would be but better late than never, eh?

What's the total at this morning?

wow, I was absolutely amazed and impressed that this thread got dawg a new phone. But then that it got members donating to charity, and then CO-WORKERS OF MEMBERS to donate... just an excellent job. Despite my pessimism about many things in our world right now, this has restored a bit of hope in my mind that there are worthwhile people still out there. Thanks!

If anyone else cares to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated, and remember if there is extra left over, the remaining balance we be donated to a charity.

On top of this being a great thing to help out dawg, I think even after we get all the money for him, we should keep this open for a while longer and let more people contribute so we have a even bigger amount to donate to the charity. Anyone else think that's a good idea?
I have been reading the feedback on Cory Scheuer and it reminded me of this thread, did the remainder ever make it to charity and if so what ones?
