Because you can't get delivery reports on Blackberrys, I was wondering how long your phone attempts to deliver a text if the recipients phone is turned off. Any one know?

Otherwise, I have no way of knowing if my texts are getting through.

its like a printer on your computer it makes a list of things it needs to print (printer spool)


the sms Spool is the same it keeps a list of the msgs that go to each phone from 24 to 48 hours from the time that it was sent. if the receiving phone isnt turned on within that time, the carrier deletes the pending message and it is never delivered
