I think you need to be on a BES to sync with Groupwise. I have Groupwise at work, however we aren't on a BES so I can't sync to anything there. I have my groupwise email forwarded to my BB.

We use groupwise 6.5, I am able to sync my information using the desktop manager without the enterprise server. I made a "rule" in groupwise to forward emails to my BB. This is nice because you can "click" and "unclick" to stop emails like when you are at work. But the appointments, tasks, memos, and contacts sync like a charm.

I am doing basically the same thing and it works great. However, we are now converting to GroupWise 7 (have already converted the server). I am stuck on the 6.5 client, as it seems the Desktop Manager doesn't support GW7. Anyone have any information on getting an upgrade?
