ok so I got my blackberry unlocked this morning and so far everything works just as if I got the phone from my current carrier. The only problem I am having is I cannot receive or send picture messages. I talk the a rep and he said that I need to change the home addess under browser configurations to AT&T but when I go to highlight or try and type over the address, the phone won't let me. I know there has to be a way to fix this. Can someone please help me.

It's not possible to change the address of tzones. You can change the address of the Blackberry Browser and the Internet Browser.

I'm not sure why this would make any difference, though, for MMS.

Where did this Blackberry come from?

Try opening the carrier home page, hit menu key, browser configuration then select use current.



Other wise place the cursor at the start of the homepage address hit menu key and select clear field then type in new address then hit menu key again and save.



Hope that helps but it shouldn't make any difference to mms.

To the best of my knowledge, MMS will not work on an unlocked TMo handheld when used on AT&T's network.

The proper service books do not get sent to the device.
