Question Password Change

Please Login to Remove!

Yesterday I needed to change the password I use for e-mail on my Earthlink account, and now my BB 7100g isn't getting the e-mail. I've been thru just about every submenu on the BB and can't find where I should change it there.

Anyone have an idea of what I can do to get e-mail to my BB now?

Thanks!

Sue

I presume you are using the BlackBerry Web Client to collect and forward your mail. If so, you need to log in to the web site - where you set up the POP3 e-mail account - and change it there. It is not on the BB.

I think you can get to the website where you set up your email account by clicking on the set up email icon on your BB. It should take you to the same website where you first setup the Web client. In there you can change the password to you email or just delete it and add it again if it won't let you change the password for that particular account.

Thumbs up Password Change Fixed!

After a few pokes here and there on-line, I recalled that the BB WebClient page I needed doesn't work so well with Netscape. Once I got into the page via MS Internet Exploder I got the pwd changed and sent a few tet messages from another e-mail address and sho' nuff! It works!

Thanks guys!

Now if BB can come up with a hot little unit like that "razrberry" . . .
