Default Voicemail setup

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering was voicemail setup the same for all models and service carriers on the BBs? I have the 7520 and to setup my voicemail, my phone # was my temp password. I am trying to setup it up for a 7290, but it keeps telling me my temp password is not correct, so I was wondering if setup is different for different models?

Thx

Voicemail is carrier specific, not device specific.
You need to contact your carrier to get their instructions for voicemail setup. The type of device you are using has very little to do with the setup.

Usually the voicemail set up is the same type of set up as a regular cell phone. The temp password is usually 1111. Give it a shot and see if that works.

Yeah, voicemail setup is done through your carrier and has nothing to do with the phone like someone mentioned. Try 1111, 0000 or the last 4 of your phone number. Most passwords are setup using one of those three things.
