Default Verizon Bought Alltel

Just got word that Verizon bought Alltel. I need to know what Verizon Restricts on the bb, cause alltel doesnt really restrict anything. I sell alltel and need to know if I can really bring myself to sell Verizon.
Thanks in advance

I wonder how long the integration process will take.

While I am not sure of the differences between the offerings of these companies, I can say there will be plenty of time to get all of the information you need. These types of large-scale mergers can take months, and that's -if- the feds give it their blessing quickly.

I just read that they are looking to have it wrapped up by the end of the year. I think that translates to, no less than 5 months.

They really do not restrict anything. It is more that they make you pay for their stuff (i.e. pay $10 a month for VZ Navigator and it is locked to 3rd party GPS apps). Other than that, I can not think of anything that is actually restricted by VZW. Oh, the other argument that you will get is that they are always late with new devices (which they are), but that is more of a RIM/CDMA thing than a carrier thing.

You are going to get a huge variation of replies on this topic... should be fun to read..... again!

Since Alltel handles calls for both AT&T and Verizon, I wonder how AT&T is going to handle the possible loss of rural area callers.
