Smile BIS some advice

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to be able to use the BIS to send and receive email from 2 different email accounts. I would also like to be be able to reply to these emails with a different address assigned to each email account. Is it possibel to do this on the Blackberry BIS service?

Also if I buy a blackberry from the USA and get it unlocked in Australia are there any risks involved?

Welcome to BBF koloks!

Yes, you could do all those with BIS. Here's a tip re: buying used BlackBerrys if you plan on getting one that way > Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ

No risks if you get it unlocked. I got mine from T-Mobile US and I have no issues. How to get it unlocked? Easy... How do I unlock my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

Thank you for the prompt response.

Is there a guide you have I can use that will show me how to configure the BIS service to configure my Blackberry to have different icons/mailboxes for each email addresss and also show a different reply address for each mailbox?

Many thanks

Sure. Try this How to add / delete email addresses - BlackBerryFAQ and everything else is in the FAQ site. Follow the blue link in my signature below.

Good luck!
