I had setup a rogers.com email addresses and my work email through BIS. The work email stopped working yesterday and i have to validate the account in BIS. After validating successfully (no changes made - just validation), it confirms. After half an hour, it asks to be validated again and it's stuck in the loop now!!

Any suggestions?

Someone doing maintenance at your work, shutting down firewall. BIS tries to access your office mail, firewall does not let it to, BIS assumes it is wrong password or server and gives up - asks you to revalidate.

Alternatively: someone installed overzealous intrusion detection system which thinks that someone from the Internet shoudln't be accessing your office mailbox every 5-10 minutes, it is too often. So, IDS occasionally tells BIS to take a hike.

Suggestion: talk to your IT.

I would not use the carrier supplied email address if I were you. You are opening it up to receive tons of SPAM as it is unfiltered. Plus the only way to view mail to that account is on the BB itself, no webmail. And finally, you cannot take the account with you when you move to another carrier.

If you need to use the forward method, then I suggest using a Yahoo ro gmail account. The only issue is that since it is a business account, your reply address will not be the work address.

no the reply will not come from your business address, but you can set up the "reply to" as your business email address
