Default Moving adress book to Sim

Please Login to Remove!

I have a question about moving my contacts to my sim card. I know I can move contacts from my sim card to the address book but I don't see an option to go the opposite way. I'm thinking if I have to swap my sim out to another phone, is there an easier way than to physicaly add every contact individually, one by one.

Basically is there an option to copy all to sim, just like from the sim address book there is an option to copy all to address book? I know even if I can do this that only partial names and number will copy but its better than nothing.

I've searched and it seems as if you can only do it one by one by clicking on the persons number when looking at their info. But the answer I got was with the old software. I was wondering if someone knew if you could do it with the new updated software that just came out.

Not only will name and number only copy but if you have multiple nubmers under one name, they will all copy as their OWN contact.

Yeah I noticed that too. Each person would have their name two, three times with different numbers.

Thumbs up Device contacts to SIM card

Yeah I have wondered this myself after a number of my customers asked about it.

I have submitted a feature enhancement request to RIM and my organisations Enterprise Support Account Manager has told us that they will feature it in a future OS code release.
