I got a flood of service books last night at 2:35 but got nothing after that, tried to send a few emails, non worked came back with error "transaction error - failure at service". Resent svc books this morning with nothing recived by BB, done reset and retried svc books nothing. Browser works fine tho!

RIM is doing BIS server upgrades this weekend... the outages are scheduled between 0200 EDT and 0600 EDT both Saturday and Sunday. That may be at least part of what you are seeing.

i tried to send to my yahoo and blackberry.net email and nothing has come in. also no gmail. this is bad. im expecting email form my endocrinologist and cant get it...

i hope you have pulled your battery and rebooted the device.

I would also try resending your service book.

These RIM upgrades usually mean both a battery pull and service book resend to straighten things out. Works for about 90% of the people almost 75% of the time.

Browser works fine while the emails don't. Have you re-registered via HRT yet? Deleted/re-added the email addys on the BIS website? If all else fails, I would give the carrier a call.

I re-reg on the HRT several hours ago. Ugh I have a feeling verizon will want me to hard reset and wipe. No other clues?

I have no other advice but to let VZW hear you out. You've tried a couple of battery pulls, re-registered via HRT, re-sent the service books via the website, deleted/re-added the email addys and all that but it still didn't work. Are you getting the correct signal indicators on your CDMA BB? If so, then if you can make a phone call to other VZW BB subscribers that you know who are in the same area, then please do so and ask.

Ok so yes I've got capital EVDO and intresting bit, I just went to email setup on the device and it made me a new bis account. I registered my gmail and now I have 2 of the same gmail boxes, ima try to go home and on the computer reg my pin with the "old" bis account. Wtf would the bb disassociate itself with my bis and then make itself a new account?

Got it! Signed into my old bis with opera mini. I switched bb's about a week or 2 ago. Must have been vzw's latest backup cuz my old pin was listed on the change ur device screen, just told it to take my current berry and svc books came in. But now I have an extra email icon from the "new" bis but I just hid it o well stupid vzw can't even keep current backups. Ok my thumbs hurt!

so this morning, after day 2 of bis upgrades, my dads blackberry mysteriously ends up with my BIS account on it, and his not associated with any bb. i had to re associate my bis with my bb, then delete his service books and re assign his bis with his bb....wtf
