Do your volume keys not work? While on a call, notice if clicking them up or down will adjust the call volume indicator on the screen.

If you need to adjust your ringtone volume, look at Profiles > Advanced > and edit the settings for your active profile and then edit each alert, like the phone.

Your best bet is to change the tone profile to quiet or vibrate. Applications>Profiles> Pick one.

They don't work that way. Just hold down the # key and your profile will change to vibrate. When you get back outside just hold the pound key down again and your profile is changed back to your usual setting.

make sure you dont have exceptions if you want it to truly silent. The exceptions will over rule any profile you have going.

Zip file explorer.

Has anyone tried Ziplorer?

If you wait, I do believe the new 4.5 OS will do the same.

New OS probably within a month.. it's a guessing game.

Download ZIP files to your PC, uncompress there and use Desktop Manager > Application Loader to install, from the *.alx and *.cod files contained in the ZIP file.
