You can probably send an SMS message without a data plan... but not to just any e-mail address. You can send an SMS message to an SMS recipient... i.e... another mobile device.
I've never heard of piping a normal e-mail over SMS.
well ive done it from a cellphone b4, i can also send from my hotmail account to my bb and will recive it as sms, soo i jus wnat to be able to send it back to an email. im sure there has to be a way.
well ive doen it form a callphone, the only problem is that with a bb i cant type the @ symbol anywhere in the phone number fileds, if i was able to there would be no problem.

Look... I don't give a crap if you sent a regular e-mail with your refrigerator in your kitchen. If you don't have a Blackberry Data Plan, you aren't sending or receiving any e-mail with your Blackberry.
ok ur flaming me for something that i alredy did, and it is possible, don post if you dont know shit. i posted the message for somebody that knows something to answer.
Hi!
In Germany some providers provide an "Email-Gateway" you send a sms with the recipients email-adress and subject and the email-body to a specific Number and it will be sent.... Check with your provider...
