Default AT&T Yahoo & SSL

Please Login to Remove!

I am a first time owner of a BlackBerry Curve. My DSL service is with AT&T and my BB service is with T-Mobile. I have contacted both but was not able to get any answers. I found a thread on the forum regarding this problem but no solution. Can anyone out there help? Here is the message I keep receiving from AT&T since I set up the email addresses on my BB. Everything works fine at the moment, what do I need to so to make sure it stays this way?

Dear AT&T Yahoo! Customer:
We noticed that you are accessing email using non-secure settings in your email software.
We would like to ensure that your AT&T Yahoo! Member ID, password, and email messages are transmitted securely between your mail software (such as Outlook or Outlook Express) and the AT&T Yahoo! Mail servers. In order to meet this need, please enable SSL via the instructions that are available on the Help site.
Since multiple email notifications have already been sent out about this, we request that you please make the necessary changes immediately. Remember, you need to make these changes if you want to continue to send/receive email using a mail client.
Thank you for your cooperation,
AT&T Yahoo! Customer Support

I believe the information you need will be found on ATT BIS website, or on Yahoo email website, but the settings need to be made on the BIS site. It's a matter of enabling your BIS account to access your Yahoo email via SSL. I think your notice from ATT refers to the BIS site accessing your email insecurely. I poked around but didn't find anything quickly, but there are more detailed settings in creating the account on ATT's BIS site that you may not have seen. For example when I setup IMAP for GMail, I had to access other settings that were not available to me initially. When adding your account, input your email address, but not a password, and it should allow you access to a button that says "I will setup this account manually"
